Objectives:

·        To develop an understanding of how to multiply fractions

·        To practice fraction multiplication problems

·        To become skillful in doing multiplication fraction problems as needed for the GED or other educational goals

New Instruction:

1.  To develop an understanding of multiplication of fractions, click here http://www.math.com/school/subject1/lessons/S1U4L4GL.html.  Do Step 1 through Step 4.  Complete 10 problems on Step 4.

·        Multiply Fractions-Strict will give instruction and practice in multiplying fractions. These examples will have a mixed number times a mixed number. The product must be entered as a mixed number and in lowest terms.

 

·        Multiplicative Inverse will show you how to find the inverse of a number and how the product of a number and its inverse is one.
