Although MAACE will not be sponsoring a Summer Institute this year, Montana ABLE educators will still have a professional development opportunity thanks to a MAACE mini-grant. The purpose of this in-service training is two-fold: to demonstrate the effective use of research-based internet activities in the ABLE classroom and to provide sound research models that will help teachers become researchers. By bringing research into the classroom, ABLE educators will reinforce best practices. OPI renewal units will be available along with limited stipends for Montana ABLE educators.
