RECAP OF NOVEMBER

Did you get a chance to look at what had been posted on MT LINCS during November?  A variety of items have been posted in both the reading and math area:

Remember - RIB is really your website!  As always, the end goal of the website is that it be user friendly.  Thanks for your suggestions!  You will now see that there is a link on the homepage on which you can click to send email.  And don't forget - the emails are now being archived also!

 

PATTERN

Now that we have been doing this a couple of months, you can see the following pattern:

 

Week 1   

MT LINCS RIB Update:  Recap previous month with brief intro to new month

Week 2   

MT LINCS RIB Update:  New posting for month with research about reading strand

Week 3   

MT LINCS Update:  Items from national discussion groups

Week 4   

MT LINCS RIB Update:  Followup of reading strand with reminder about new postings on other subject areas

 

So what is working or *not* working for you?  What other suggestions do you have regarding format?

DECEMBER

Fluency will be the reading focus for December.  But as usual before we do that, once again take a look at November's postings to see if you have anything to add or share with your colleagues.  (Of course, that does not mean that you can't go back to the previous months.  I can still post ideas that you have on an earlier topic!)

SUMMARY

December is a busy time for all of us.  Family first, right?  That's my motto!  In the meantime, if you get a chance, don't forget your extended Montana ABLE family.  Send MT LINCS a gift for all of them:  a suggestion, an activity, a website, a question, money - oops - just kidding about the money!!!

 

Going too many directions this month?  Time to cut down on the caffeine?  Come on into Montana ABLE's Staff Lounge for a cup of soothing herbal tea.
