ECONOMIC RECOVERY PROPOSAL


Attached is a copy of the adult education economic recovery proposal-formerly known as the 'economic stimulus.'

Our colleagues at the Center for Law and Social Policy (CLASP) were asked to prepare and submit the proposal.

Two things:

1. This proposal focuses on all adult education in relation to economic recovery.

2. The meeting yesterday and the correspondence today focused on young adults and what adult education can do for that population in relation to economic recovery.

Whether adult education will have one or two opportunities in the recovery package is yet to be determined.
