MAACE Needs You!

 MAACE members have asked for the opportunity to make connections with other MAACE members, especially now that we have so many special projects in the works.  The Let’s Reconnect Conference will do just that! 

Round Table Discussion Leaders

The conference has scheduled panels in the following areas:  content standards, distance learning, and leadership.  Additionally, round table discussions are scheduled in the following areas:  ESL, math, language arts, and directors.  However, we need volunteers to head up these sectionals.  MEA-MFT will pay a $30 per hour stipend for each sectional, so your time is rewarded.  Please contact Kathie Daviau at daviauk@billings.k12.mt.us by MAY 1 to let her know which panel or discussion you would like to lead.

Sectional Presentation

Also, please consider presenting a sectional on any topic, strategy, or idea you use in your classrooms.  These could be special projects, grants, or even a single lesson plan that was successful.  You may think it isn’t very spectacular but your peers are always looking for good ideas.  We hope you will share.  Again, MEA-MFT will pay a $30 per hour stipend for each sectional.  Go to http://www.mea-mft.net/ to submit an application to present.  The deadline for submission is MAY 8.
