A conference that focuses on Family Literacy and Parent Partnerships
April 14-16, 2004
To share new and proven strategies for working with at-risk families in the areas of school and center-based parent involvement, family literacy, and early childhood education.
To broaden the understanding of research-based principles for the literacy education of children and adults.
To offer training to improve classroom and home-based instructional staff.
To offer workshops and training in important support functions such as fundraising, collaboration, volunteer or client recruitment/retention, data collection, and evaluation planning.
